peloponnesian film festival 2012

CINE@ART-PELOPONNESSIAN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL is a non- profit cultural Organization, with a Competition section. Its innovation lies on the creation of theme sections about “Bridges” on the screening program, aiming to demonstrate Peloponnese’s geopolitical and historical relation to the rest of Greece, as well as the rest of the world, and especially the significant role of Corinth’s isthmus to its unification with the rest of Greece. It is this unification that creates an intercultural bridge to connect Greece with the rest of the world.(…)

(…)This year’s festival edition has created Special theme screenings. As the third edition of CINE@ART -Peloponnesian International Film festival concurs with the International Day of People with Disability, a part of our screenings is dedicated to films about human disabilities, under the symbolic title “We can do”. Furthermore, the audience will have the unique opportunity to watch films by upcoming filmmakers premiering in the festival. Some of the most outstanding films created recently are going to compete for the festival’s Grand Prize “Golden Pegasus”, which is going to be given to the film indicated by an internationally acclaimed Jury of cinema professionals. [ from the official website of the festival.]
